I am an anesthesiologist with training in pain and palliative care. I accompany people living with pain or advanced illness, seeking to alleviate their suffering and improve their quality of life. I deeply believe in the power of listening, caring and being present.
I was trained as an anesthesiologist at the University of Antioquia, I completed a subspecialty in Pain and Palliative Care at CES and I have a master’s degree in Medical Education. Currently I work in several institutions in the city, in addition to serving as a professor ad honorem at the University of Antioquia, because I am convinced that teaching is also a way to heal.
With more than 10 years of experience, I actively participate in research and in national and international congresses. I have also had the opportunity to attend international patients, providing support in English, which allows me to offer a human and quality care without communication barriers. My purpose is to combine science, innovation and sensitivity to accompany each patient and their family on the road to a better quality of life.
